Dear Lincoln Families,
February's theme at Lincoln focuses on friendships and relationships. This month we have many opportunities for students to establish stronger and/or new friendships. Please refer to the upcoming events over the next month. It's exciting to see what's happening at our school.
Read-a-thon Feb. 3rd -Feb. 21st: 3, 2, 1....Blast Off into Reading with Lincoln School's Read-a-thon! Join us in an out of this world read-a-thon from Feb. 3rd -21st as our school blasts through books to read 120,000 minutes. Students and families can help participate by reading and tracking your Lincoln child's minutes, raise money for our school, and win individual and classroom prizes. Buzz Light Year, Darth Vader, a robot, an alien, along with Becky the Bookwork helped kick off this event Friday, Feb. 3rd . A huge thank you is extended to Dana Hupert for organizing this event.

Upcoming PTA Meetings February 21st and March 27th (Note the March Change in Date): Please consider joining us at 7:00p.m. for our next PTA meetings. This fun interactive group welcomes all new faces as we discuss how best to support the students and community of Lincoln School. All meetings are located in Room 101 with childcare available for ages 3 and up.
Leap into Reading Scheduled for February 29th: The Literacy Committee is excited to share a new event this year as we recognize I Love to Read Month along with Leap Day. It's called "Leap Into Reading" and it will be an all day event at Lincoln involving guest readers and greeters, buddy readers, along with other special moments. A huge thank you is extended to our Media Specialist: Ms. Traver and our Intervention Specialist: Mrs. Thibault for organizing this event.
