  This website from Kidspace @ the Internet Public Library will give you basic facts about your state, including date entered the union, Governor, historical sites, points of interest, sports teams, major industries and links to other websites.
 
  Find lots of facts about your state here, including all state symbols, geography/landforms, weather, land area, elevations, longitude & latitude, bordering states, maps, and the largest cities by population.

  On this website, click on the "Cities in your state" link, and you will find a list of cities in your state.
 
  Select a state from the drop-down list. It will show you the number of counties in that state. Go to the bottom of the page and click on "Sort by Population" or "Sort by Square Miles".

  Create a word search puzzle at this website. In Step 1, enter a title. Step 4, change the output type to TEXT. In Step 5, type your words or phrases. Do not change any other Steps. Click on Create My Puzzle, then print your puzzle.
