Funding Information
The White Bear Area Senior Program receives funding from the Community Services and Recreation Department of the White Bear Lake Area School District #624, Minnesota Board on Aging, the Metropolitan Area Agency on Aging, Senior Services Consortium of Ramsey County, Metro Meals on Wheels, Metropolitan Council (through the Lake Area Bus), Ramsey County, Lion's Clubs of White Bear Lake, Hugo and Vadnais Heights, and the State of Minnesota.

Additional support is provided through participant fees, voluntary contributions and the generous support of individuals within the communities we serve.

The Senior Program is dependent upon the support of multiple partners to ensure that the continually expanding needs of older people in the community will be met.

In addition to various funding sources, the White Bear Area Senior Program depends on the generous support of the community to provide its many services and activities. Please consider making the Senior Program one of the organizations that you support. You may:

  • donate to the Senior Program on an annual basis or make donations throughout the year
  • designate your donation for a specific program, service, or general operation
  • make your donation in honor of a loved one

Your donation will help us to provide Meals on Wheels to people who are no longer able to prepare nutritious meals for themselves, rides to people who are not able to drive themselves to medical appointments and grocery shopping, social and educational activities for people who want and need to be active in the community, and to connect seniors and their family members with services provided by the Senior Program as well as other agencies.

To make a donation by check, please submit it with the donation form.  To make a donation online, please go to www.whitebearregistration.org and click on Donation.

Tax deductible donations should be sent to the White Bear Area Senior Program, 2484 County Road F E, White Bear Lake, MN 55110.

Leave a Legacy
The idea of leaving a legacy is very appealing to many people because it allows our hopes and dreams to live well beyond our years. The White Bear Area Senior Program provides you with the opportunity to make a long-term future commitment in support of its mission.

Using bequests made through wills, estate plans, revocable living trusts, real estate, appreciated stock, IRAs and retirement accounts, and life insurance, your legacy is defined in the most meaningful way possible. Bequests may be directed to any of our programs (Meals on Wheels, Lionmobile, Senior Center, Senior Connections). Your bequest will also be recognized on our Giving Tree.

A legacy gift to the White Bear Area Senior Program is best made with the counsel of one's financial advisor or attorney, accountant, banker, or insurance professional.  Click HERE for further information.

To discuss a "future" legacy gift confidentially, please contact Barbara Green at 651-653-3126.
