Barbara Green, Senior Program Coordinator, has worked in the non-profit sector since 1981 as
the Coordinator of Volunteer Services for Community Emergency Assistance
Program, Director of the Hennepin-Anoka County Meals on Wheels Coordination
Project of the Greater Minneapolis Council of Churches, Director of Programs
for Little Brothers – Friends of the Elderly, Director of Transportation
Services for the St. Paul American Red Cross and Coordinator of the White
Bear Area Senior Program. Barbara has a Bachelor of Arts from the College
of St. Catherine, St. Paul, MN and a Master of Public Administration from
Northeastern University, Boston, MA. |

Jeanne Koeckeritz, Senior
Program Secretary, provides administrative support to the various
programs and activities of the White Bear Area Senior Program, as
well as oversees the operations of the Lionmobile transportation
service. Her work history includes 12 years working in a nursing
home from Nursing Assistant, Certified Medication Aide, Pharmacy
Assistant, and Activities Assistant. Following that she moved on to
the business field for 10 years until 1994 when she was able to
blend these experiences here at the White Bear Area Senior Program
and have been "happy everafter." |

Debbie R. Walker, Meals on Wheels Coordinator, has been with the White
Bear Area Senior Program since February, 2007. With 30 years of office
experience ranging from legal to routing servicemen and working as an
Assistant to the Activities Coordinator at a Nursing home the position of
Meals on Wheels Coordinator is a good fit for Debbie. Debbie also
worked part time with seniors as a ceramics instructor sponsored by our
community ed program for 8 years and 4 years at other senior housing
facilities.

Mary
Bryan-Day, Senior Connections Outreach Worker, has 13+ years experience
working with seniors and their families. This experience includes Residence
Director and Administrative Coordinator for Senior Assisted Living
residences and Director of Social Services for a Senior Retirement Campus.
Also included in this experience is involvement with county social workers,
discharge planners, home health agencies, ombudsmen, and community treatment
coordinators. Degrees include - BS Elementary Education; MSE Guidance and
Counseling. Mary is a Licensed Social Worker in Wisconsin. |

Mary
Mengel, Senior Connections Outreach Worker, has worked in aging services
for more than 20 years and has been with the White Bear Area Senior Program
since 2006. Mary is a licensed independent social worker, has a master’s
degree in social work with a specialist in aging certificate, as well as a
master’s degree in pastoral ministry. She now enjoys working directly
with seniors counseling older adults and their caregivers regarding service
options and helping connect them to services to support their ongoing
independence in the community. |
