Mission Statement

The mission of the White Bear Area Senior Program is to provide information, activities, and services to enhance the lives of older adults. We strive to provide and create opportunities in a manner which affirms the dignity and self-worth of each individual.

General Information

The White Bear Area Senior Program is a program of the Community Services and Recreation Department of the White Bear Lake Area School District #624.  The Program provides nutritious meals through Meals on Wheels, rides of all kinds through the Lionmobile and a variety of services through the Senior Connections Program to School District #624 residents who are 60 years of age and older.

In addition, we offer classes, social and educational activities through the Senior Center to adults of all ages from all communities.  A bimonthly newsletter, the Senior Voice, is provided free of charge to all School District residents.  For nonresidents, subscriptions are available for a cost.  Contact the Senior Program for further information.

The Senior Program, which began in 1975, is a volunteer-based program dependant upon over 300 volunteers to help provide services and activities to area seniors.  Information regarding these programs, services and activities is outlined in this website.

We welcome you to contact us at 651-653-3121 to learn more about our programs, services and activities.
