Greetings! My name is Don Bosch and I am Principal at White Bear Lake Area
High School, South Campus.
White Bear Lake Area High School is a dynamic school, highly regarded for comprehensive offerings and innovative programming. The North and South campuses work closely together to create outstanding learning environments geared toward the unique developmental stages of teens. Our schools are characterized by rigorous academic work, a vibrant fine-arts community, and excellent vocational programming.
The South Campus of our high school is an energetic building with a strong college going culture. It is our goal that all of our students leave us with the skills to be successful in a college or career setting. While students may choose to use these skills in a variety of settings, it is the same skills that will lead to success in college that will also prepare any student for a successful career in a vocational, apprentice, or military setting. Regardless of future plans, post-secondary readiness is key to success for all students. Our staff is committed to this goal and will strive to motivate and inspire our students to reach their potential.
I received my undergraduate and graduate degrees from the
University of North Dakota and my Administrative Licensure from Saint
Mary's University - Twin Cities.
I began my educational career teaching high school mathematics in
Bakersfield, CA. and then moved to Coon Rapids High School in the Anoka -
Hennepin School District. Prior to my arrival in White Bear Lake, I
worked as the Activities Director and Assistant Principal in the Forest
Lake School District.
My wife and I are the proud parents of two boys, the oldest a graduate of White Bear Lake Area High School and our youngest who still attends White Bear Lake Area High School. We are an active family involved in
many sporting activities which keeps us all very busy. We truly enjoy
living in such a great community and school district!
