The mission of the White Bear Lake Area Schools Extended Day Program is to provide a safe, social, and positive environment for school-aged children.
The Extended Day Program provides care for elementary school aged children before and after school, on school release days, school vacations, and during the summer. Children are offered options to participate in a variety of group and individual activities such as arts and crafts, games, physical activities, and quiet time. The Extended Day staff works closely with the school staff to provide the best care for each individual child. The Extended Day Program follows all Independent School District #624 School Board approved policies including those outlined in the Student Discipline Code.
The School-Year Extended Day Program has two components:
Parents may sign-up for the program anytime throughout the school-year, but enrollment is on a space available basis. Detailed information about and registration materials for the upcoming School-Year program are generally available in January of the year prior.
